Gene Kelly is one of the musical genre’s all-time greats, which is why you find him represented twice in our programme (here and in a supporting role in Les Demoiselles de Rochefort). His eponymous dance scene in the rain made Hollywood history, but even beyond that, this musical about producing a musical enchants you with its humour, heart, and, of course, plenty of song and dance numbers.
